Overview

• Travel/contract role in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:00–6:00.
• 36 hours per week.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Short-term acute care setting.
• Level III Trauma Center and Teaching Hospital.
• 733 staffed beds.
• Epic is used for charting.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in North Carolina.
• Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience).
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Military.
• Experience working with Pediatric patients.
• Experience working with Adult patients.
• Days, weekends, and holidays required.
• Every other weekend required.
• Float as needed within scope and between like units.
• No holiday RTO accepted.
• No more than 4 days of RTO.
• Pending license not accepted.
• Locals not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the main campus.
• State License 1 Verification.
• Tech Cert Verification - National.
• Education Verification.
• Background Check.
• Physical Exam.
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap.
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Drug Testing.
• Flu vaccine or approved flu exemption during flu season.

Additional Notes

• Interview availability should be provided with submission.
• Call-off policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week assignment; after that, contracted hours are guaranteed.
• Return travelers must be gone for 1 year to return.
• The system has a 2-contract limit and then requires 6 months away to return.
• Scrub color: solid black or black and white.
