Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3x12 hours.
• On-call is required, with rotating weekend call.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Locals are not accepted.
• Block scheduling is not available.
• Floating within scope may be required, including to sister facilities.
• Contract length: 12 weeks.

Unit / Setting

• Fast-paced ER with highly acute patients.
• Unit cares for transplant center, Burn center, LVAD, total heart, PICU, NICU, L&D, comprehensive stroke center, ECMO cannulation in ED, and chest pain center patients.
• The department sees approximately 175–200 patients per day.
• Previous minimal experience should be in a 30-bed ER.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience).
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year.
• Experience in an Acute Care setting.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Driver's License.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• NIHSS.
• Current and valid driver’s license or state-issued ID.
• Utility bill in the traveler’s name with matching address from within the last 3 months.
• Address must be greater than 75 miles from the contracted facility.
• Current state license.
• NURSYS verification.
• 2 former direct supervisor references.
• 10-year work history verification.
• Current resume covering the last 7 years of employment.
• Skills checklist within 1 year of start.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray.
• TB questionnaire.
• Negative 8-panel drug screen.
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption by the required deadline.
• Fit mask completion onsite.
• Patient Care Orientation Class.
• EPIC class if no EPIC experience within the last 6 months.
• ESI certification prior to start.
• Vehicle information form.
• Code of Ethical Business Conduct acknowledgment.
• Policy acknowledgment form.
