<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 5x8hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Oct 12, 2026</li><li>Length: 18 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in a Trauma Level II diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab setting.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab with 2 procedure rooms</li><li>Adult to geriatric patient population</li><li>5x8 hour day shifts, either 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM</li><li>Every other weekend rotation unless otherwise specified</li><li>Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed</li><li>Call requirement as part of a 4-person call team with 3 rotating teams</li><li>Uses Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab required</li><li>Trauma Level II experience required</li><li>BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCIS certifications required</li><li>ARRT-R preferred</li><li>State license required if applicable</li><li>Epic experience preferred</li><li>Prior travel experience required</li><li>Skilled in cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and left/right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, stent placement, IABP and Impella insertion, pacemaker insertion, and hemodynamic monitoring</li><li>Experience with vascular studies/procedures including angioplasty, embolization, IVC filter placement, and endovascular interventions</li><li>Proficient in EKG lead placement, access site prep, vascular closure systems, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias</li><li>Skilled in sterile technique, scrubbing, circulating, and equipment setup/maintenance</li><li>Experience with Philips imaging equipment, ultrasound, and PACS</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures</li><li>Perform EP studies including cardioversion and tilt table studies</li><li>Work in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath labs, including hybrid OR settings</li><li>Follow infection control and sterile technique protocols</li><li>Scrubs provided by facility</li><li>Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, finalized at time of consideration</li><li>Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period</li><li>First-time travelers not accepted for this position</li><li>Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate</li><li>Previous Piedmont staff must be separated for one full year before returning as a traveler</li><li>Returning travelers who cancelled or were released must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying</li></ul>
