Postpartum RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Seattle, Washington
• Unit is a large-volume, high-census postpartum setting with high-risk obstetric patients
• Assignment length: 13 or 26 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12s or 4x12s
• Nights: 19:00–7:30
• 6 weekend days per contract
• Float scope includes Postpartum at Issaquah Campus, Postpartum at Edmonds Campus, and Labor and Delivery for the 2nd hour of recovery

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Post Partum (2 years of experience)
• Post Partum experience within the last year
• 2 years of high-acuity postpartum care experience
• Experience working with High Risk patients
• Ability to manage 4 couplets (high patient census management)
• Magnesium administration experience
• Pitocin administration experience
• Postpartum hemorrhage management experience
• Substance withdrawal care experience
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Experience with Epic

Preferred

• JADA experience

• First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 2 years of experience and can handle high-acuity postpartum care
