Job Opportunity: RN Medicine - Pediatrics

Position Overview

  • Provide nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with a range of health problems from simple to complex.
  • Work under general supervision.
  • Responsible for an assigned group of patients.
  • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments.
  • Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
  • Monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary.
  • Administer medications, intravenous infusions, and blood products.
  • Deliver competent patient care.
  • Communicate care plans with patients and families during hospital stay and at discharge.
  • Inform patients and families about hospital procedures.
  • Make referrals regarding patient care needs.
  • Delegate tasks to support staff.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain good working relationships.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
  • Basic computer skills.

Contract Length

  • Approximately 13 weeks (89 days ≈ 13 weeks).
