Perfusionist Job Opportunity

Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

Certification: Active BLS (AHA) required
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience (highest requirement)
Preferred: ABCP certification (not required)
Call: Willing and able to take call (one night per week and every other or every third weekend)
Licensure: No state license required in North Dakota

Job Details

Provide perfusion support for on-pump and off-pump CABG cases, valve replacement surgeries, and TAVR support for adults only
Equipment used includes EPIC electronic patient record system, Viper documentation system, and Spectrum pumps
Shift: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
First case starts at 7:30 AM in the OR on weekdays
Floating: May float to Broadway campus only if able to perform HIPEC procedures

Work Environment

Unit has 2 OR rooms and access to a robotic room; all TAVRs are performed in a hybrid cath lab
Team includes 3 surgeons and 4 perfusionists
Approximately 40 patients scanned daily, with procedures running into the evening
Orientation: 1:1 with a perfusionist
Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
Scrub color provided: Ceil Blue

Additional Notes

Prior work with this health system requires a minimum 6-month gap before re-submission
