Pre-op / PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - Contract

Shift: Day Shift (5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week)
Call Requirement: Yes, taking call is required

Job Description

• Position involves working in Pre-op and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings.
• Located in a rural area with limited public transportation; personal vehicle is necessary.
• The community offers outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling.
• Support provided for transition into the community and role.
• Attendance at department quarterly education sessions is required for agency professionals.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Vermont
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience
• Pre-Op experience
• Perioperative experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
