Job Description

• Position is a backfill role in the Operating Room.
• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles away to qualify as travel staff.
• The facility is a Joint Commission Accredited hospital with specialized certifications including Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Certified Primary Stroke Center.
• The hospital provides a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must comply with New Mexico state requirements for clinical staff, including fingerprinting and background checks prior to hire.

  • Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while fingerprint results are pending but must be supervised during this period.
