Surgical First Assistant

Overview

Employment type: Travel
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Shift: 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Surgical First Assistant experience
2 years of CVOR First Assist experience within the last year
2 years of independent Endoscopic Vein Harvest experience utilizing either Terumo or Maquet 6 Pro
2 years of Open Heart First Assist experience
BLS
OR First Assist Certification
CSFA, CFA, or SA-C

Schedule

On-call: Every third weekend and every third weekday
Weekends: Rotate call every third

Clinical Setting

Procedures include: CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, open and endovascular aorta repair, and thoracic cases

Additional Details

Scrubs are provided by the hospital
