Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
• Driver's License

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Weekend coverage as required by the facility, including every other weekend
• Float as needed to a similar or lower acuity unit
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift, and the traveler must be available for the entire week of orientation
• Blocked scheduling may be approved based on facility requirements
• RTO of 5 days or less must be made up on the back end
• Only 1 holiday RTO request per assignment

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS from AHA only

Work Environment

• Patient care for all age groups
• High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids
• Physical demands include standing and walking most of the time, bending and stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance, and pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs
