Required Qualifications

License: Valid Radiation Therapist license in Virginia
Experience: Radiation Therapist (2 years of experience)
Recent Experience: Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
Certifications: BLS issued by American Heart Association, ARRT

Responsibilities

Provides daily care of cancer patients, including accurate interpretation and delivery of radiation treatments per the radiation oncologist’s prescription and instruction
May perform simulations and provide clinical instruction for radiation therapy students
Required during Brachytherapy procedures
Assists in treatment planning procedures including tumor localization and dosimetry
Triage sick patients to nursing for evaluation

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with some variation depending on the schedule
No weekend requirements
No on-call requirements
