Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
Experience in Charge roles
Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

Neuro and Stroke experience

Unit Details

17 beds
Patient ratio: 1:6
Float scope: Med Surg and Progressive
No trauma patients

Schedule Notes

Block requests are considered but not guaranteed
Weekend hours as needed
Standard expectation is every other full weekend unless otherwise approved
Candidates should expect to work at least one major summer or winter holiday

Clinical Notes

Medical and Surgical Neuro patients, including Parkinson’s, Stroke, and Lumbar cases
IV therapy competency, including care for central lines
Attends Neuroscience Nursing course as assigned by the nurse manager
