Overview

• Travel RN role in the Emergency Department
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
• No call requirement
• Float requirements: none
• Orientation: bi-weekly
• Unit has 22 beds

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ER experience

Preferred

• Trauma experience
• Pediatric experience

Unit Details

• Patient ratios: 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 critical, 6:1 fast track
• Patient population: all
• Common patient types include traumas, STEMIs, psych, cardiac, GI, and stroke

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered travel
• EHR: Cerner
