Job Opportunity: RN - ICU (Travel)

Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: ICU
• Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Population: Adults (including COPD, Chest Pain, Cardiac drips)
• Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 3 patients
• Unit Beds: 10
• Equipment: Mindray
• EHR System: MediTech

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with adult patients

Additional Information

• Start Time: Must be able to start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance
• Start Days Allowed: Monday or Tuesday
• Patient Population Focus: Primarily adult ICU patients with critical care needs
• Preferred Experience: ICU experience strongly preferred

Summary

This is a travel RN position in the ICU requiring at least 2 years of ICU nursing experience, current Iowa RN licensure, and mandatory certifications (BLS, ACLS). The role involves caring for adult patients with critical conditions such as COPD, chest pain, and cardiac drips. Candidates must pass comprehensive background checks and drug screening, and be ready to start quickly.
