Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: Special Procedures
• Number of Beds: 2 IR suites
• Staff: 4 IR Nurses, 4 IR Techs
• Shifts:

  • Day Shift: Day shift coverage
  • Night Shift: On call
• Patient Ratios: Average of 10 patients per room
• Equipment: Philips biplane, Toshiba single plane

Typical Procedures Performed

• PICC lines
• Paracentesis
• Thoracentesis
• Kyphoplasty
• Port placement
• Ablations
• ESI (Epidural Steroid Injection)
• EKOS for PE (Pulmonary Embolism)
• Trevo for Stroke

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in New Hampshire
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist

Work Schedule

• On call every 3rd to 4th weekend
• On call one weeknight

• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• License must be active at time of application submission
