Job Description
Seeking a well-rounded Surgical Technologist (CST) experienced in multiple OR service areas including:
- Neuro (craniotomy and back fusions)
- Orthopedic (total joints)
- Gynecology (C-section and hysterectomies)
- Robotics
- General Surgery (vascular and trauma)
- Urology
The facility is a Level III trauma center with state-of-the-art operating suites and a diverse patient population of all ages.
Position Details
- Role: Surgical Technologist (ST)
- Specialty: CST/ORT (Surgical Tech in Operating Room)
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with variable assigned call shifts
- Call Requirements: Yes
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
- Weekend Hours: Varies based on call shifts
- Float Requirements: Endoscopy
- Number of Openings: 1
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Equipment: Varied by OR specialty
- EHR System: Cerner
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in the specialty areas listed
- Experience in trauma cases required
