• Cath Lab Tech- RCIS
• 2 cath, 2 EP, and 1 Hybrid suites/labs

Required Qualifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• If ARRT (R) is not held, CO Fluro license is required and takes about a week to obtain
• Solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab technician experience

Schedule

• 4x10 hour day shifts
• Weeknight call: 1-2/week
• Weekend call: 2 per 6-week pay cycle
• Holiday call: yes
• Call response time: 30 minutes

Clinical Setting

• Average of 10-20 cases per day
• Common patient types include STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, and atrial fibrillation/flutter
• Duties include scrub, monitor, and circulating roles

Floating

• May float within the department
• Only in an extreme need may float to Zone 3: OCH, LUH, SAH, SAN

Additional Notes

• Agency must provide traveler Rad Badge
• Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote
• EPIC is used in the unit
