Overview
- Travel contract in Northridge, California
- 13-week assignment
- 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS
- California Physical Therapist license
- 2 full years of experience
Preferred
- Travel experience
- Trauma experience
- Experience with bedside swallow studies
- Video swallowing studies experience
Unit and Patient Population
- Unit: PT, OT, Speech
- May cover assigned area and potentially float to other areas
- Inpatient populations may include ortho, post surgical, neuro, trauma, cardiac, and med surg
- Outpatient PT/OT populations may include ortho and neuro
- Rehab populations may include neuro, spinal cord injuries, and trauma
Work Environment and Schedule
- Outpatient: up to 9 patients per day
- Inpatient: up to 13 patients per day
- Rehab patient volume varies
- Weekend requirement varies
- Holidays are not required
- Shifts may vary depending on need
- Floor-specific orientation is about 1.5 days
Additional Details
- Rehab aides/OTA/PTAL support is available
- Cerner Powerchart is used
- Scrub color/uniform: maroon polo shirt, dark colored pants, closed-toe shoes; lab coat optional
