12-hour shifts
36 hours per week

Every other weekend
Works 2 of 3 major holidays

Required Qualifications

Arizona RRT license
BLS certification
ACLS certification
PALS certification
Registered Respiratory Therapist verification
Does not accept CRT
2 years of experience is acceptable
First-time travelers are accepted

Clinical Setting

Inpatient care
Freestanding emergency department float coverage
May also cover adults, pediatrics, and neonates if NICU-trained

Key Responsibilities

Draw and analyze ABGs
Provide respiratory treatments
Manage ventilator settings
Assist with intubation

Additional Details

May float to a freestanding emergency department about 15 minutes away
May be placed on low census
Black scrubs required
Unit orientation includes one NEO day, one ED day, one ICU day, and one floor day
Additional NICU orientation day if NICU experience is present
