Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse

Location: Bronx, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12 hours per day, approximately 34 hours per week


Job Description

  • Work in a 26-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at a pediatric teaching hospital near NYC.
  • Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients.
  • Opportunity to work in an academic hospital setting.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New York.
  • Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Previous travel nursing experience.
  • Experience working in an academic hospital setting.
  • Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) experience.

  • Night shift position.
