Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse

Location: Bronx, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12 hours per day, approximately 34 hours per week

Job Description

Work in a 26-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at a pediatric teaching hospital near NYC.
Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients.
Opportunity to work in an academic hospital setting.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York.
Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Previous travel nursing experience.
Experience working in an academic hospital setting.
Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) experience.

Additional Information

Night shift position.
Pediatric critical care specialty.
