Description
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse
Location: Bronx, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12 hours per day, approximately 34 hours per week
Job Description
- Work in a 26-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at a pediatric teaching hospital near NYC.
- Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients.
- Opportunity to work in an academic hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York.
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Experience working in an academic hospital setting.
- Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) experience.
