Registered Nurse (RN) – ER Float to Acute Care (Med Surg)

Location: Ord, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week (6 PM – 6:30 AM), every 3rd weekend float in ER

Job Overview

• Float between Emergency Room (ER) and Acute Care (Medical-Surgical) units as needed.
• Work in a Critical Access Hospital setting.
• Use Allscripts EMR system.
• Small facility environment requiring flexibility and ability to perform multiple roles.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Experience working in trauma and Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department.
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips.
• Strong multitasking skills, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain good rapport with providers.

Additional Information

• Scrubs allowed in any color or design.
• Providers are described as easy to work with.
• Must be able to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment.
