Respiratory Therapist Tech - Night Shift

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Summary

Provide continuous airway management including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support.
Perform physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.
Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Utilize equipment such as computerized charting systems, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Ventilator.

Schedule

Night Shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total)
No guarantee of hours

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Hawaii
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
Current State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License
Certifications required: BLS, PALS, ACLS

Additional Information

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption is required before contract start; vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance.
