Registered Nurse, Med/Surg

Location: Gardner, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 32-hour evening shift, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, every other weekend and holiday

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
ACLS

Preferred Experience

1 year of Med/Surg experience
1 year of Telemetry experience
1 year of Pediatrics experience
PALS preferred

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
Administer medications and intravenous therapy
Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and document findings
Provide patient and family teaching, including discharge preparation
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient status to the care team
Support surgical patient care, including pain management and equipment setup/troubleshooting
