Experience in L&D, LDRP and postpartum care
Ability to manage a 3 couplet assignment
Triage of obstetrical patients
Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring)
Start and maintain peripheral IV
Administer antihypertensives and insulin drips
Assist with vaginal delivery
Recover C-section patients
APGAR scores, baby nurse duties, cord sample collection, ID/security banding, radiant warmers/thermoregulation
Epidural anesthesia and pain assessment and management
