Work Schedule

• Night shift
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• 36 weekend hours per week
• No on-call requirements

Job Description

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple hospital areas including ICU, ER, Nursery (Level 1), and Med Surge floors
• Participate in resuscitation teams and attend high-risk C-sections in the nursery
• Float to all areas of the hospital, treating patients from newborns to adults
• Use specialized equipment such as Drager V500 and Hamilton T-1 ventilators, neo puff, V60 BiPAP, Airvo high-flow oxygen units, and Ram cannula
• Document patient care using the EPIC electronic medical record system

Patient Population

• Adult critical care patients
• Pediatric patients in ER, including those requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation
• Newborns in nursery and NICU/PICU settings (preferred experience)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Maine
• Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
• Experience working with pediatric, neonate, maternal-fetal, and high-risk patients
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
