Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 48
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
Acute Care experience
Cardiology experience
BLS

Unit Details

Fast-paced, high-acuity Med Surg/Post-Op unit
Patient mix includes high-acuity, cardio, and Med Tele patients
Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:4–5 on days, 1:5–6 on nights
Must be comfortable with complex care including IVs, PCA, epidurals, wound care, burns, central lines, PICCs, PEGs, trachs, chest tubes, drains, tube feeding, NG tubes, Foley catheters, heparin drips, and wound vacs

Preferred Experience

High-acuity patient experience
Cardio experience

Scrubs may be any color
Unacceptable attire includes hoodies, open-toe shoes, logo/graphic clothing, tight or ill-fitting clothing, AirPods/headphones, and gel polish/artificial nails
