Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Travel Contract)
Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Rotate weekends, no call requirements
Unit Type: Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED)
Number of Beds: 11
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 CNC, 1 RN
- Night Shift: 1 CNC, 1 RN
Patient Ratios: Not available
Equipment: Ventilators, Point of Care Lab machines
EMR System: Meditech

Job Description
- Must float to other FSED facilities as needed
- Typical procedures include IV starts, 12-lead EKGs, and patient assessments
- Team-oriented environment requiring an inclusive and helpful personality
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN in an Emergency Department (ED), with experience within the last year
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, PALS, TNCC
