Job Opportunity: RN - Surgery Pre Op (Travel)

Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Employment Type: Travel

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre Op (Surgery)
Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM), one day off (not fixed)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Call Requirements: No call required for Pre-Op department
Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
Patient Population: Diverse, all ages
EHR System: Cerner

Facility & Unit Profile

Level III Trauma Center with 198 beds
Services include medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth, cancer, nephrology, pediatrics, behavioral health, day surgery, imaging, and lab testing
Located in the scenic San Juan River Valley with access to outdoor activities and nearby cities (Durango, CO and Albuquerque, NM)

Requirements

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Required Years of Experience in Specialty: 2 years
Prior Travel Experience: Not specified / not required
Must Have Skills/Experience: ACLS, BLS

Submittal requirements include resume, submission form, area-specific competency exam, skills checklist, and screening questions
No float requirements
