Job Opportunity: LPN/LVN - Med Surg

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Central Transport
Equipment used: Stryker Stretchers, Hill-Rom Beds, Wheelchairs
EMR systems: Capacity Management and iMobile device
Shift example (Day): 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
Patient ratios: Not applicable

Job Requirements

Specialty: LPN/LVN
Required Years of Experience: 2 years
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- IV Therapy Certificate
Licenses: Valid LPN/LVN License
Skills:
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
- Strong communication skills

Typical Duties

Transfer of inpatients between units and for procedures

Work Schedule & Policies

Rotating every other weekend
No on-call required
Dress code: Khaki pants and red golf shirts provided
