Electrophysiology Technologist

Overview

  • Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
  • Schedule: 11:00 AM–7:30 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Shift options: 5x8 or 4x10
  • On-call required
  • Weekends and holidays as needed
  • Contract length: 40 weeks

Role Summary

  • Assists physicians with invasive cardiac, peripheral diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement
  • Supports circulatory support devices as indicated
  • Works with electrophysiology procedures, including mapping, ablation, and implant devices

Required Qualifications

  • Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Electrophysiology Technician experience
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience
  • Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program, Radiologic Technologist program, or Associate of Applied Science degree
  • BLS issued by the American Heart Association

Key Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
