Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Schedule: 40 hours/week, weekends as needed, required on-call

Job Description

Provide inpatient surgical nursing care in the Operating Room (OR) setting.
Work a 40-hour week with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Weekend work and on-call availability required.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio.
Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Onboarding Requirements

Submission of a professional profile including resume, skills checklist (within one year), and two professional references.
Completion and submission of multiple compliance and professional forms including:
- Code of Conduct
- I-9 verification
- Confidentiality and security agreement
- Integrity and audit services form
- Conflict of interest disclosure
- Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years, including SSN verification) dated within 30 days of start
- Education verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED)
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion checks dated within 30 days
- Joint Commission CORE exam within the past year
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days
- System access form completed and uploaded one week before start

Additional Information

NIHSS certification is optional.
Agency provides the Trinity Skills Checklist for clinical contractors.
