Overview

  • Travel/contract assignment in Florence, South Carolina.
  • Starts on 11/11/26.
  • The traveler will begin at MUSC Health Florence for about 2 weeks, then transition full time to a free-standing Emergency Room and Urgent Care facility.
  • 3x12 day shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
  • Weekend work is required.
  • 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina.
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience).
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
  • NIHSS.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Experience with Epic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPI.
  • TNCC.

Facility Details

  • Free-standing Emergency & Urgent Care facility.
  • 12 staffed beds.
  • Royal Blue scrubs.
  • Free parking.

Additional Notes

  • On-call is not required.
  • No floating within scope or between like units/sister facilities.
  • Local candidates are not accepted within a 60-mile radius.
  • Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed.
  • All RTO must be included at submission and approval depends on facility needs.
  • The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
  • Hurricane season runs from June through November, and travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during that time.
