Overview

• Travel/Contract RN in Saint Louis, Missouri
• 12-week assignment
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Guaranteed hours: 36
• Ratio: 1:4-5
• First-timers accepted
• Pending license accepted
• Locals not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• Weekend requirement: every other
• No on-call requirement
• Will float within the service line when needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with feeding tubes
• Pre/post hemodialysis management
• Accessing ports
• Blood product administration
• Central line care/management
• Phlebotomy skills
• Peripheral line care/management
• Experience with PICC lines
• IV insertion skills
• Experience with cardiac or critical care drips

Preferred

• Supervisors within the last year are preferred as references

• Unit patients are waiting to be admitted into the hospital inpatient unit, with care starting in the Emergency Department until a bed is available
