Step Down Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Cleveland, Ohio
- 20-week assignment
- 3x12 schedule only
- Rotating day/night shifts
- May float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
- Must work at least every other holiday
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- 1.5 years of Stepdown experience
- Stepdown experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
Preferred
- PCU/Progressive Care experience

- Background check
- Fingerprinting
- Education verification
- ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation, with passing scores required
- Completion of onboarding modules before start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask clearance within 12 months of start
- Tdap vaccination/documentation
- TB screening or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation
- Drug screening within 12 months of start
- Flu vaccination/documentation
- Eye exam within 1 year of start
- 2 references from recent employment
- Employment application with prior work history
- Annual skills checklist
