Key Job Details
- Cardiovascular/thoracic, Transplant, and Robotics (Thoracic) experience is preferred.
- Call is required: 1 day per week and 1 weekend about every 4 weeks.
- Weekend coverage is included in call requirements.
- Floating may include other areas within facility scope of practice and the Main OR.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Local candidates are accepted.
Required Qualifications
- CVOR Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
- Georgia state license, if applicable.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Education verification of the related degree noted on the application.
- Background check must be completed before start.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start.
- TB screening or chest x-ray within 12 months of start.
- TB questionnaire required.
- Work history verification of the most recent employer.
- 2 clinical references.
- Skills checklist within 12 months.
- Photo ID.
Compliance and Start Requirements
- Full compliance is required to start on time.
- RTO maximum is 7 days.
- If one major holiday falls during the assignment, it must be worked; if two fall during the assignment, both must be worked; if three fall during the assignment, two must be worked.
- Physical exam required within 12 months of start.
- Flu vaccination or declination required.
- Tdap is highly recommended but not required.
- Hepatitis B surface antibody titer or signed declination is required.
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation is required.
- Color blind testing is required.
- Competency exam is required.
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam is required.
