Overview

• Travel/contract role in Tulsa, Oklahoma
• Unit: ICU
• Night shift, 3x12 hours
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Ratios: 1:2, with occasional 1:3
• Locals accepted
• Float scope: Med Surg (1:5) and ER depending on census

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years working experience in a hospital setting

Unit Details

• Top diagnoses/procedures include CRRT, cardiac, cardiac surgery, CABG, hemodynamic monitoring, respiratory failure with vent management, DKA, altered mental status, and managing multiple drips
• Special procedures include central line setup and management, central line, ART line, CVP, and basic dysrhythmia training

Schedule Requirements

• 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
• No on-call
• No block schedule accommodation
• No holiday RTO
• Maximum 5 total RTO days in a 13-week assignment
• No additional RTO after submittal or while on contract

• Level 3 trauma center
• 171 staffed beds

Compliance and Onboarding

• Background check required within 30 days of start
• Copy of diploma or transcript required; cannot be pending at start
• Unit-specific competency exam required
• 2 references required before start
• Annual skills checklist required
• Work history verification for the last 3 years required; may be pending at start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
• Hepatitis B documentation required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
• Drug test required within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or approved declination required during flu season
• Facility modules and signed onboarding documents required before start
