Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse with vascular OR experience to work 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM), Monday through Friday, totaling 36 hours per week. On-call required with 5-8 calls per month, including weekends. Holiday call may also be required.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in vascular OR.
- Must be able to scrub and circulate complex vascular cases.
- First-time travelers are not preferred.
Required Licenses & Certifications
- South Carolina RN license or a valid multi-state RN license must be active at the start of the contract.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA only).
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (AHA only).
- Radiation badge required (provided by agency).

Schedule & On-Call Details
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
- On-call 5-8 times per month, including weekends
- Holiday on-call may be required
- Facility may call off traveler for 1 shift every 2 weeks
Additional Requirements & Notes
- Must complete a variety of background checks including criminal, employment, and education verifications.
- Required to complete facility-specific orientation modules prior to start.
- Fit testing for N95 masks required within 90 days prior to start and annually thereafter.
- Must provide proof of immunizations and health screenings including:
- Tdap within 10 years or declination form
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella immunity or vaccination
- Hepatitis B titer or vaccination series or declination
- Seasonal flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption (during flu season)
- Drug screening (10-panel) required within 90 days prior to start.
- COVID-19 vaccination is highly preferred but not required; declination form must be completed if not vaccinated.
- Must provide a clear, passport-style photo for badge issuance prior to start.
- Radiation badge process may take 5-7 days; candidates cannot start without it.
Prior Travel Experience
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required, but first-time travelers are not preferred.
References & Documentation
- Proof of 2 clinical references required.
- Complete employment application including all PTO, contract assignments, agency names, and no unaccounted gaps.
- Verification of last 3 clinical employers required.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience, with CVOR experience within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Ability to scrub and circulate complex vascular cases
