Job Overview

Location: Charleston, West Virginia
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours, Monday–Friday, typically 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Details

Specialty: Interventional Radiology
Average daily census: 7–10
On-call: About 8 days per month, including 1 weekend per month, with a 30-minute response time
Weekend requirement: Every third weekend
Floating: Required to a sister facility for 1 week
First-time travelers: Accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in West Virginia
Interventional Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

Vascular Intervention certification

Equipment setup, maintenance, inventory, and supply stocking
Accurate monitoring
EKG lead placement
Prep access site
Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias

Additional Notes

ARRT only; RCIS not accepted
Orientation occurs every other Monday
Blue surgical scrubs are issued by the hospital
Free parking is available for travelers
