Ultrasound Technologist

Job Overview

  • Employment type: Temp
  • Shift: 12-hour night shift
  • Schedule: Friday through Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
  • Contract length: 12 weeks
  • Location requirement: Must live at least 50 miles away

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and diploma from a school of radiologic technology
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
  • Ultrasound technologist experience within the last year
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) ultrasound tech license

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Healthcare
  • Lead experience

Role Summary

  • Performs ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment
  • Produces images for radiologist interpretation
  • Maintains required records and equipment quality control procedures
