MRI Technologist - Medford, Oregon

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform MRI procedures including Neuro with perfusion, MSK, Abdomen, Critical Care Patients, Pediatric (including some NICU), and General Anesthesia patients.
• Utilize equipment such as EPIC, PACS, SIEMENS SKYRA 3.0T, SIEMENS ALTEA 1.5T, and Temporary mobile MRI Siemens Aera 1.5T.
• Work primarily on 3rd shift (nights), Monday to Friday, 1700 - 0130.
• An aide will be present during all working hours.
• Call may be assigned depending on staffing and department needs but is not regularly scheduled.
• No floating to other units.
• Work in a 2-room MRI unit.

Required Qualifications

• Valid MRI Technologist license in Oregon.
• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience within the last year.
• Related Bachelor's or Associate's degree.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current MRI technologist certification from either:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI, or
  • American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).

Orientation & Training

• Orientation lasts 2-4 weeks on day shift.
• Possible back-up call until comfortable working the 3rd shift.
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation during the first work week.
• Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation.

Work Environment & Dress Code

• Medical scrubs required.
• Clothing must be neat, clean, wrinkle-free, and professional.
• Prohibited clothing includes spandex, leggings, denim pants (blue or black), tank tops, bare-midriff tops, low-cut tops, miniskirts, shorts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, and cargo pants (except scrub pants with cargo pockets).
• Closed-toe shoes required; nursing or athletic shoes are acceptable.

Additional Notes

• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
• Client may cancel or call off up to 24 hours before the shift during the 13-week contract.
• Non-Oregon licensed MRI technologists may be eligible for a 90-day temporary license if permanent license is not posted before assignment start.
