Speech Language Pathologist

Job Overview

  • Location: Twin Falls, Idaho
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Days
  • Hours per week: 40
  • Hours per day: 10

Required Qualifications

  • BLS certification
  • CCC-SLP
  • 1+ years of acute care experience
  • Competent in VFSS (video fluoroscopic swallow study)

Clinical Setting

  • Acute inpatient and acute rehab
  • May float to Jerome Medical Center

Schedule

  • 4 10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Weekend coverage required
  • Holiday coverage as needed

Patient Care

  • Treats about 8 to 10 patients per day
  • Common diagnoses include stroke, pneumonia, and sepsis

Orientation

  • Usually 2 to 3 days in the department
  • Travelers should plan on working Monday through Friday, 5 8-hour shifts, to accommodate onboarding

Additional Notes

  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Scrubs are permitted, with color restrictions
  • Radius rule applies: candidates must live outside 50 miles from the facility
