Job Opportunity: LPN/LVN - Med Surg

Location

Kirksville, Missouri

Employment Type

Travel assignment

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Days, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, every other week (EOW)
36 hours per week
No week on/week off scheduling
Blocked scheduling requests may be accommodated if specified in the application

Unit and Patient Care

Swing Bed unit with 10 inpatient rehab beds
Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 10 swing patients
May absorb med-surg patients if swing bed volume decreases
Floating primarily to med-surg for patient assignments; may float to other units within existing competencies
No standing call; may be placed on call only if volume supports, with no more than 48 hours of call-off time per contract

Required Qualifications

Valid LPN / LVN license in Missouri
Minimum 1 year of LPN / LVN nursing experience within the last year
Experience in Med Surg nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
