Clinical Setting

• General intermediate care
• Patient mix includes neuro, respiratory, cardiac, and GI cases
• Handles triage, 3 drips, and BiPAPs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• EPIC experience

Role Summary

Provides routine and complex nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, medication administration, treatment monitoring, documentation, and patient/family education.
