Overview

Travel RN role in the Emergency Department
1 opening
Shift: 7A-7P
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Call: none
Patient population: all ages
Unit has 17 beds
Average patient ratio: 1:4
Average volume: 40 visits/day

Required Qualifications

Iowa SING background check to clear, including criminal and child abuse portions
All county and state background checks must be fully cleared before start
Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult
10-panel drug screen including opiates
Titers from the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB
Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
BLS
ACLS
PALS
TNCC
NIHSS

Preferred

Travel experience
2+ years in acute care

Schedule / Start Details

Weekly orientations
Mid-week starts allowed, except Wednesdays
Monday or Tuesday starts allowed
