Overview

• Travel RN role in the Emergency Department
• 6-week assignment
• 48 hours per week
• Start: rapid response, 5-7 days from offer
• No RTO or special scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• Rapid Response experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Unit Details

• Emergency Department
• 30 physical beds and 8 hall beds
• 77 staff members
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• Floating area: N/A

Clinical / Unit Notes

• Typical procedures: NIH, IV/blood draws, Moderate Sedation, TNK, Cardiac monitoring
• Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, Ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, portable EKG machine
• EMR: Meditech
• Dress code: royal blue
• Weekends: every other weekend
