Travel RN position in Portland, Maine
Float Pool assignment
1 opening
48 guaranteed hours per week
Shift options: 7:00 am to 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
75% weekends required
No call required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
Critical Care Float (3 years of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
1 year or more of total travel experience

Preferred Qualifications

Impella 5.5
Balloon Pump

Unit / Float Scope

Specialty areas listed: MICU, CICU, Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU
Floats to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU based on experience
May float to any IMC at the organization
Patient ratios: 1:2, or 1:3 in IMC
Number of beds varies by unit

Clinical Details

Expected to care for basic ICU patients such as sedated, intubated, and pressor patients
Not expected to care for high-complexity patients such as CRRT unless competent to do so
Equipment includes EVD

Additional Notes

EPIC is used
Non-specific scrub color
Open-toed shoes, crocs, jeans, clothing with large logos/print, and profanity are not acceptable attire
