Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS
• 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Driver's License
• Experience with cardiac or critical care drips
• Ability to operate EKG machine
• Must be able to float throughout Med Surg as needed

Unit Details

• 18 beds
• Standard Nursing equipment on MS Ortho unit
• EPIC

Schedule

• Weekend hours as required by facility/every other weekend
• Night shift orients on day shift
• Traveler must be available the entire week for orientation

Additional Information

• Flu vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1-April 1; exemptions must be client approved
• The unit focuses on post-surgical patients with an emphasis on orthopedic procedures
• Black scrubs
• Up to 5 days of requested time off in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved
• Candidates should expect to work at least one major winter holiday: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day
