RN ICU Neuro/Trauma/Medical

Overview

Travel RN role in Lafayette, Indiana.
Unit: 2N ICU.
2 openings.
Shift: 1800-0630.
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
Weekend requirement: every third weekend.
Call: may be placed on call once every 4 weeks.
Float requirement: yes.
Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
CCU - Coronary Care (3 years of experience)
CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Cardiac rhythm knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

TNCC or TCAR
Step down/progressive care experience

Unit Details

17 beds
Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 for combined acuity
Equipment includes vents, IV pumps, CRRT, Bipap, ekos, and chest tubes
Patient population includes neuro/trauma/medical ICU, stepdown progressive care, and medical overflow

Additional Notes

Scrub color: navy blue
Facial piercings must be out or flesh colored
Multiple CBTs are required before the first day
