Overview

Travel RN assignment in Lewiston, Maine
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
3 weekends

Unit

ICU – Y4
Trauma Level III
190-bed facility
1:1–3 acuity-based patient ratios

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Experience working with Neuro patients
Trauma experience

Unit Details

Equipment includes ceiling lifts, hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, extensive safe-patient handling equipment, and Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV Pumps
Common diagnoses/treatments include sepsis, shock, multi-organ failure, respiratory failure, trauma, neuro/brain injuries, complicated surgeries, stroke, and encephalopathy
